About Us

Martin has worked in the financial services industry since leaving school at the age of 18 before becoming an adviser in 2000.

Martin firmly believes that advisers should be involved in every step of their client’s journey from buying their first home, to protecting their assets and loved ones, to saving for special events all the way up to retirement and estate planning. From a professional point of view, there is nothing better than seeing a client move house or enjoy their retirement successfully.

Martin lives with his Wife Trudi and two step-sons and enjoys playing golf, trying to keep fit, skiing and watching football & cricket.

Having left school at 18, Lewis studied for his Financial Advice diploma (DipFA) and mortgage qualifications (FSRE, CeMAP 2&3) via the Quilter Financial Adviser School. At the age of 19, he was fully qualified and began advising mortgage clients in June 2019. The plan is for Lewis to become a full Financial Planner in late 2023, where he will continue to advise mortgage clients, but also expand into helping clients with investments/ retirement planning.

Lewis is currently responsible for dealing with all mortgage enquiries generated by H&C Financial Planning Ltd and offers a free initial mortgage appointment to assess your needs and provide you with your options. With his experience and passion for helping clients, he will be sure to find you the best possible solution!

Lewis lives in Farmborough with his family and has a passion for Football, supporting Tottenham and playing every Saturday. He also enjoys ‘trying’ to play golf, skiing and going to the gym.

Ben joined H&C at the beginning of 2020 as our Protection specialist. He has over 19 years’ experience working in a variety of roles at reputable insurance companies such as AXA, Friends Life, Aviva and Zurich, with most of his time spent in underwriting and product development. Before moving to H&C, Ben worked as the UK Sales & Account Manager for Further Underwriting, a company that provides overseas medical treatment.

Ben’s knowledge and experience of the protection market allows us to provide a truly personal and bespoke service to our customers, enabling us to recommend the most suitable Protection products according to their individual needs.

Having seen first-hand the positive impact Protection can have on people’s lives, Ben aims to provide reassurance to people and their families that they will be supported in their time of need.

Ben lives with his wife, Shona, and their 2 children, Rory and Cian. Outside of work he enjoys playing golf and rugby, cycling, snowboarding and spending quality time with the family.
